Meteorite Scale Cubes
Each one-cm (about 3/8-inch) cube is made from solid brass. Each side is labelled N, S, E, and W(for North, South,
East, and West), as well as T and B (for top and bottom).
The all brand NEW cubes have now the 1CM label below the T. Production process has improved
for more exact labels on the cubes.
These cubes
are valuable when taking photographs of small objects. They provide a clear one-cm cube for scale and may be also
used to show the orientation of an object.
The pictures shows the cubes alongside
a large piece of NWA unclassified meteorite(the meteorite is not included if you buy one, it's only used as a showcase).
As I found out those scale cubes where first used by the NASA during the Apollo missions. To find out
more about scale cubes go to Google and look for "apollo scale cube".
The cubes are made out of pure brass. They are HANDMADE at a small factory in Berne, Switzerland (Swiss quality guaranteed).
Difficult to find anywhere else. Pieces for sale are limited.
